This place was really good. I enjoyed the shredded beef burrito smothered in mind green chile sauce. The Diablo de Camerones is really spicy and good. Others in my party loved the chile rellanos and the enchiladas. The beans, guacamole ans salsa are really flavorful.

Food was okay. Service was 7/10. Ambiance was okay. Be prepared to be charged an extra $3 just for paying with your credit card.

I highly recommend garlic and onions I have always had good service with the smile and great tasting Mexican food. They recently painted and put new hardwood floors in their dining area to help improve the atmosphere. Good job, garlic, onions. In your meal with ice cream and deep-fried Oreos.

I had this place on my list for a bit and my husband took me here for dinner tonight. It's definitely a hole in the wall joint and looks run down from the outside. Walking in, we hardly had to wait for a table, and it's obvious that it's outdated with the decor and the menu. They had a sign on the door saying they were renovating the interior, though, and I really hope they do as it needs it. But sitting down the main area is spacious. We ordered our drinks and appetizer of chips and salsa quickly. Pros: The salsa was very good. I ordered the Colorado burrito with green chili hot and my husband ordered the chicken taco salad with half and half. My burrito was excellent. Great flavor on the green chili and yes I would order it again. My husband really enjoyed his taco salad. Only downside is they gave too much sour cream. Like they weren't watching the amount given. Overall the food was on par of great tasting and portion size was more than enough. Our server was on top of everything. Cons: The restaurant is outdated including the menu. It seems rundown on both the outside and inside. You can tell where the renovations are being done. I'm giving it four stars for the food and service. Recommended? Actually yes. Some people gave it bad reviews, I would come back again and have another burrito.

Very nice server, good food but HUGE portions! We went for happy hour and got 2 for 1 drinks. My house margarita was decent but I would've liked more salt on the rim. I got the veracrusanas which are 4 enchiladas in diablo sauce. Very spicy and I LOVED it. I just couldn't finish it because of how huge it was! My friends also liked their food but couldn't even finish half. The hot salsa with the chips was very good. Ambience was spacious, clean and very inviting. Highly recommend!

The hosts greeted us immensely with a smile. We had a comfortable table for our party of six, which included two children. The ambiance was that of a friendly family restaurant. The waitperson was very attentive--even to our littles. One asked what was on the children's menu and she patiently recited every dish. She took our drink and appetizer order. One surprise to me was salsa and chips were not complimentary hence the 4-stars. However, when they arrived with they were worth ordering. Chips were crispy and warm. The salsa was the perfect amount of spicy. We ordered queso which had bits of chorizo in it -- wowzer it was good. My spouse and I always order different dishes so we can swap halfway. One ordered dish was the classic slopper. It has green chili on the beef hamburger and it was slopped all over the fries. The sauce on the well-prepared burger was delicious and medium spicy as requested. I personally didn't care for it all over the fries because they were too soggy. It reminded me of poutine. I'd have preferred the fries with onions, jalapeños, and shredded cheese. I'm a home cook and I know what I like. BUT the burger was super good. The beef burrito and cheese enchilada plate came with excellent beans and rice. It was a hearty dish and I don't want to change a thing! We ended up bringing half the large burrito, rice, and beans home. I recommend Garlic and Onion -- we will go back on our next visit to explore something else on the menu!
